VPN For Android

PPTP Protocol (Recommended)

To setup PPTP VPN on Android:

  1. Go to the “Settings”

2.Under “Settings” tab click “More Settings”

3.On the next window click “VPN”

4.Under VPN click “Add VPN Network”

5.Next screen will ask you for VPN “Name” write “SaturnVPN”

6.In “Type” choose your connection type PPTP.

7.In the ” Server Address” put one of these Server Addresses.

8.Remove check mark from “PPP encryption (MPPE)” and click “Save”

9.In this screen, click “SaturnVPN PPTP VPN”.

10.Put “Username” and “Password” provided by SaturnVPN and click “Connect”

11.You are now connected.

L2TP Protocol

To setup L2TP VPN on Android:

  1. Go to the “Settings”

2.Under “Settings” tab click “More Settings”

3.On the next window click “VPN”

4.Under VPN click “Add VPN Network”

5.Next screen will ask you for VPN “Name” write “SaturnVPN”

6.In “Type” choose your connection type L2TP/IPSeC PSK.

Notes:

  • You can try both “PPTP VPN” and “L2TPVPN” on your Android devices.
  • The shared secret (PSK) for L2TP is 90807060
  • Please try PPTP VPN first because it’s usually faster than L2TP
  • If you have hacked (root) your device and have problems using VPN, probably you need to run this command from shell:
    chmod 777 /etc/ppp/ip-up-vpn
