What is Cisco Network Certifications
Cisco’s network certification program is recognized worldwide. Popular Cisco certifications are available at all skill levels and include:
- Entry level training and certifications are designed to be a starting point for people who are just beginning a career in networking professions. Among the entry-level certifications available are CCENT and CCT, which have no prerequisites. Cisco provides suggested study material online. To be certified, an individual must pass an examination.
- Associate or midlevel training and certifications provide a strong foundation in either network design (CCDA certifications) or network installation, operations, and troubleshooting (CCNA certifications). Currently, there are 10 levels of specialization including CCNA Cloud, CCNA Data Center, CCNA Security, CCDA, and CCNA Routing and Switching, among others.
