Download OpenVPN for Mac OS X
To setup OpenVPN on Mac, First download Viscosity for Mac.
Go to the “Downloads” folder and double click “Viscosity.dmg”.

A new window will pop up asking to drag the Viscosity icon inside the “Applications” folder in order to install Viscosity.
Select and drag the Viscosity icon to the “Applications” folder by holding your left mouse button down, release it once the icon is inside the folder.

Once the Viscosity icon is inside the Applications folder double click it.

Step 2
Download OpenVPN config file
Unzip the configuration file that you just downloaded.
This zipped file contains a folder with .opvn files (saturnvpn-UK-UDP.ovpn, saturnvpn-US2-UDP.ovpn, …)

Setup OpenVPN on Mac OS X
After a quick installation, the Viscosity icon appears on your menu bar near the top right corner of the screen.
Click the Viscosity icon located on your menu bar and choose “Preferences…”.

In the opened window select the “Connections” tab and click the plus sign at the bottom right corner. Then choose “Import Connection > From File..”

Now choose the config file which was downloaded.
Click “Open”.

Success dialogue appears saying that the connection was imported successfully.
You can see the connection in the background. Click “OK” and close the window.


Click the Viscosity icon located on your menu bar near the top right corner of the screen, you should see a list of servers in a drop-down menu. Choose a server to connect to click on it once.

Enter your SaturnVPN username and password, Check “Remember details in my keychain”. Then click “OK”.
