Setup OpenVPN on Windows XP
In this tutorial, We are going to install OpenVPN on Windows 7, And it’s almost the same for Windows XP and Windows 8.
Now double click on the downloaded file to start the installation.
OpenVPN setup window will appear to click “Next”.

On the next screen hit “I Agree”.

On the next screen, make sure all the components are selected then click “Next”.

Click “Install”, After the installation is completed, click “Finish”.

Download OpenVPN config file
Unzip the configuration file that you just downloaded.
Unzip the configuration file that you just downloaded. Copy unzipped files (saturnvpn-DE-UDP.ovpn, …) and paste it to: “C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config“.
If you get the “Destination Folder Access Denied” message, click on “Continue “.


Now you can find “OpenVPN GUI” on the desktop. You can also find it here: “Start Menu” then “All Programs” and click “OpenVPN” to expand.
Right-click on “OpenVPN GUI” and go to “Properties”.

Go to the “Compatibility” tab and make sure the “Privilege Level” is selected. Click “Apply” then “OK” and close the window.

Now Double click on OpenVPN GUI
Click ” Continue”

On the system tray, right-click on the OpenVPN icon and hover the server you would like to connect. (saturnvpn-US2-UDP, saturnvpn-US-UDP, …) Click “Connect”.

Put your “Username” & “Password”. And click OK.

Now you are connected.

To disconnect the OpenVPN, On the system tray, right-click on the OpenVPN icon and click Disconnect.
