How to setup OpenVPN on Windows 7
Now double click on the downloaded file to start the installation. Confirm the Windows security messages.
OpenVPN setup window will appear to click “Next”.
Click on “I Agree”.
Make sure all the components are selected then click “Next”.
Now click “Install “.
Click on “Install” again.
Click “Finish” to installation complete.
Download OpenVPN config file
Unzip the configuration file that you just downloaded. Copy unzipped files (saturnvpn-DE-UDP.ovpn, …) and paste it to: “C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config“.
If you get the “Destination Folder Access Denied” message, click on “Continue “.
You can see “OpenVPN GUI” on the menu. Right-click on “OpenVPN GUI” and go to “Properties”.
Go to the “Compatibility” tab and make sure in Privilege Level “Run this program as an administrator” is selected.
Click “Apply” then “OK” and close the window.
Connect to OpenVPN Windows 7
Now Double click on OpenVPN GUI on your desktop then Click “Continue”.
On the system tray, right-click on the OpenVPN icon and hover the server you would like to connect. (saturnvpn-DE2-UDP.ovpn, …)
Click on “Connect”.
Enter your SaturnVPN account “Username” and “Password”. And click “OK”.
